Financial Aid

Student Success Services Emergency Bursary 

The 大象视频 Student Success bursary is intended to assist eligible students who are experiencing an unexpected financial challenge that may impact their ability to stay in school. The bursary will assist students who can demonstrate that they require short-term urgent financial assistance to continue progressing in their studies. Urgent financial needs may include immediate living expenses such as groceries, housing, basic utilities, medication, day-care fees, etc. 

Students may only apply for this bursary once per academic year. This bursary is not meant to serve students on an ongoing basis. The application must demonstrate that receiving the bursary will assist students to stay in school. Students are encouraged to exhaust other sources of funding prior to accessing this bursary.

  • If you are of Treaty Status and are registered with a First Nation Band, you can contact your band鈥檚 post-secondary counsellor for funding procedures. 
  • If you are of M茅tis ancestry, you can contact your M茅tis local for further information.

  • NEW! Elder Catherine Charles Health Careers Scholarship FundDeadline:聽 Friday, September 12, 2025
  • NEW! 鈥 Opportunities for women, transgender, nonbinary, and Indigenous students who are pursuing careers related to transportation 鈥 including fields like engineering, planning, policy, economics, or environmental science. Indigenous Scholarships are open nationally to full-time students at any Canadian post-secondary institution. Awards range from $1,000 to $3,000 and include a one-year WTS membership, mentorship and networking opportunities. A great chance to support and advance diversity in the transportation industry. Applications open July 1, 2025 (general/focused); Indigenous applications accepted year-round.
  • NEW! Flight 302 Legacy Award ENGFlight 302 Legacy Award FR – Universities Canada offers the Flight 302 Legacy Award in honour of the memory of the Canadian victims of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302. There are 42 scholarships available, valued at $10,000 each. Application period: June 9 – July 9, 2025 at 3:00 PM ET.
  • NEW!  Up to 30 full scholarships and 100 additional awards for future leaders pursuing a master鈥檚 or professional degree at McGill University. Covers tuition, fees, a $2,300/month living stipend, summer funding, mentorship, and leadership development. Open to students worldwide. Deadline September 25, 2025 (for Canadians and U.S. applicants).
  • NEW! – Ramat Niseko offers a $500 USD scholarship to students worldwide pursuing studies in hospitality, tourism, or related fields. Applicants must submit a 700鈥1,000 word essay on enhancing post-pandemic travel experiences. Deadline August 15, 2025.
  • – Deadline May 1, 2024. 880 scholarships are available, each valued at up to $5,000. 
  • – Deadline February 20, 2024. Multiple awards are offered at $10,000 each. 
  • – Deadline March 1, 2024. Four student awards, each valued at $5,000, are available.

  • – Deadline November 30, 2024. Our one-time scholarship of $1000 will help with the financial needs of talented students as they complete their course of study.

  • – STC Industrial Group is proud to announce that applications are now open for our scholarship program for the 2025/26 school year, offering scholarships to support community members who are advancing their education through post-secondary studies.
  • – The Killam Fellowships Program provides an opportunity for exceptional undergraduate students from universities in Canada to spend either one semester or a full academic year as an exchange student in the United States.
