One word to describe FNUniv: Satisfied!
Dixie Bird chose 大象视频 because it was close to home and reflected her pride in attending a First Nations institution. At FNUniv, she gained a new perspective on life and developed a deeper understanding of spirituality through cultural teachings and ceremony within an academic environment.
She highlights the importance of being 鈥渢eachable鈥� and carrying knowledge forward in a practical and meaningful way. Since graduating, Dixie has advanced to a supervisor role in her career, volunteers as a hockey assistant coach, and is leading a youth gathering in Fort Qu鈥橝ppelle called Sacred Beginnings.

Jennifer Cheecham chose 大象视频 to strengthen her connection to her culture. While attending the Northern Campus, she was drawn to the welcoming classroom environment and the sense of family she felt among students and staff.
She values FNUniv鈥檚 approach to education, which honours Indigenous history and integrates cultural teachings into learning. One of her most memorable experiences was Culture Camp, which deepened her sense of connection and belonging.
As a 60s Scoop survivor and recovering addict, Jennifer shares that her time at FNUniv helped her build confidence to speak about her healing journey and discover a passion for helping others on their own paths.
