FNUniv Indigenous Health program hosted the 飞腻蝉腻办腻尘腻 “Make a Circle” Community Gathering in Saskatoon

The 飞腻蝉腻办腻尘腻Make a Circle” Community Gathering was held on March 2 – 4 2026 at TCU Place in Saskatoon, SK., and hosted by the Indigenous Health Program, 大象视频.

The event welcomed over 240 registered participants across three days. Proceedings opened with a pipe ceremony led by Elder Shelley Belheumer (Metis Community St. Louis) and Cultural Advisor Kelly Daniels (Sturgeon Lake First Nation). The program featured keynote presentations and panel discussions addressing Sexual and Reproductive Health, End-of-Life Care, Birth Support, Wildfire Response Research, Emergency Response, and Mental Wellness.

Notable highlights included the Elders Panel, as well as traditional and cultural knowledge-sharing sessions that fostered community discussion and engagement. The gathering also included vendor and tradeshow exhibits.
